This is the traditional style of fisherman's smock originally worn by them to keep their woolen jumpers underneath clean. It now has full length sleeves and two front pockets to adapt to the many uses it now covers. Traditionally these garments are not overlocked. The 'V' neck smock was developed for wearing over shirts and blouses. It is easier to get on and off than the traditional crew neck and is a ideal when you want a bit more style and protection from the wind is not so important. Traditionally these garments are not overlocked. The original smock had 3/4 length sleeves and no pockets but these are now replaced with full length sleeves and 2 big patch pockets on the front that have re-enforced stitching on the pockets . Sometimes just PUC sleeves are not enough and a bit more protection is needed. Here we have added a front piece of the same material so the chest area is kept dry too. It is sewn over the body so makes two layers. Made from 100% cotton drill and 4 oz P.U.C coated nylon. No pockets.

We have added a matching piece of material into the V space of the V neck smock and have eyeletted it with brass eyelets. We then lace it with a natural cotton cord. This style gives you extra protection from the weather yet is easier to get on and has that bit more style . It has been called our drinks on the deck style of smock. Based on the V neck smock this jacket has a full length nylon zip. Some people find it hard to get the smock over their heads but still enjoy what a smock style garment offers. So we have developed this jacket which zips right up so keeps you warm and there is no need to pull over your head. We are also adding a hanging tag and over locking the side seams. Made from 100% Cotton Drill and with two patch pockets you will find this a most practical garment to add to your wardrobe. The denim is a medium weight fabric. This is the V neck style with contrasting facing, turned cuffs and contrasting deep hem . The pockets are larger than the standard smock and have the angled top which makes them more comfortable and easier access. Having the deeper hem you will not get the characteristic turning of the hem. They are fully over locked and the pockets are double stitched for extra strength. They are longer than the standard style smock and have a slit on the sides for more comfort when sitting down. Made from 100% cotton. Fully washable.

This smock is made from a material called bull denim. It is thicker and heavier than the traditional cotton drill and therefore gives the wearer more protection from the weather and it is more durable for the more active jobs we may do. The fabric has a brushed effect on the outside. The inset in the neck helps keep the chest warm yet leaves the smock easier to get on. Made from 100% cotton bull denim. Two patch pockets.
